A Tasty Snack

Have you ever tried this snack?  Kale chips.  Freshly made and delicious.

I discovered how good they are, after friends had asked if I had ever tried them.  My answer, of course, was no.  Today, I bought a bunch of kale and decided to try this tasty treat.

Remove kale from main stems.  Break into bite size pieces.  Wash and thoroughly dry.  Place on parchment paper on an oven tray; drizzle with olive oil and salt lightly.

Put into 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.  Be careful to not overcook.  Some recipes call for 40-45 minutes in a 200 degree oven, but mine turned out just fine.

Are they good?  I will only say this:  bet you won’t be satisfied with only eating one.   They’re crispy, light and decidedly yummy.

Try them yourself.
