Groundhog Day

IMG_1204

Here it is again.  Groundhog Day, and guess what?  The groundhog predicts another six weeks of winter.

We live in North America.  Winter is long, and it is usually May before we actually feel warmer weather.

So – do we really need to take notice of a groundhog, which, upon failing to see its shadow, supposedly tells us, there are six more weeks of winter ahead of us.

Think we already know that, but it’s a fun tradition, guaranteed to break the blahs of the cold and snow if nothing else.

Happy Groundhog Day everyone!
