Bringing Comfort to Many

The recent death of a friend has prompted me to post these words of comfort.  I do not know who first penned them.  They just seem like a good fit.  My hope is that they are a source of comfort to anyone dealing with the loss of a friend, or family member.

Though all must suffer loss and grief.

Time is kind and brings relief.

The passing of the healing years

Mends the heart and dries the tears.

At first, hearts break and sorrow numbs.

No words consoles, no comfort comes.

But slowly, to the quiet mind

Life returns, for time, is kind.
