The Light

I love to watch the rising of the sun.

I find it calming to watch the sun slowly lifting itself up high into the sky. There is no effort on my part except to sit and watch the magnificence unfold, moment by moment.

There is another beautiful time approaching. Christmas. The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. His arrival was highly anticipated, as His birth promised to bring light into a world in great need of hope.

The promise was simple but profound. ‘The true light that shines on everyone was coming into the world (Jesus).’ (John 1:9 CEV version of the Bible)

God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die.’ To the people, His arrival was the miracle of the age.

Just as each sunrise brings a sense of awe with its beauty, the peace of the love of Jesus can fill our spirit each and every moment, if we just choose to have faith in the promise found in the Bible.

Wherever your life has taken you, there is always an opportunity to find peace by finding out who Jesus is, and why He came into this world, and what a difference it can make by welcoming Him into our hearts, minds, and soul.

Take the time to STOP, LOOK and TRUST. The world is a better place with Him in it.
