Those of you who follow my writing know that I love watching daybreak chasing the darkness of night away.
If you are not an early bird, I have to tell you that you miss some amazing skyscapes.
This morning was no exception. The sky turned many brilliant colors as the sun awoke and began to rise for a new day.
Within minutes crimson shades turned to white, and as I looked I saw what some call ‘the fingers of God’ appear. I had not heard this term until I heard it from Bob McIntyre (now deceased) of CTV News, Barrie, who used it more than once.
I love the thought that God is showing himself to the onlooker.
God is immeasurable. His love is also beyond the bounds of anything we can understand. We cannot imagine how great His love for us is.
Ephesians 3:19, 21
I want you to know all about Christ’s love, although it is too wonderful to be measured. Then your lives will be filled with all that God is.
His power at work in us can do far more than we dare ask or imagine. CEV
Just as the magnificent skyscapes show us God’s wonderful creativity in action; His love within us can be said to be equally amazing, as it transforms a spirit of darkness into one of light (metaphorically speaking).
I hope your day is a good one. Don’t let anything overwhelm you. Stop occasionally and look at all the natural beauty around you.
