The scene outside of my sunroom changes constantly. Much the same as life does.
I love photography. Since childhood, a camera has been a prized possession. I have countless photographs of sky vistas captured and added to my collection.
The trees in the garden provide a constant subject in many pictures, but the sky continually changes.

I liken this to life. We can, like the trees, stoically stay put while life goes on around us, hopefully being productive in our own individual manner, or we can grasp change and meet each moment head-on, traveling new roads with enthusiastic fervor.

I’d like to think of myself as the sky, ever-changing, but think I am now more recognizable as a tree, metaphorically speaking. I have traveled different roads in life, striving to find the right place to be. Some decisions were good, some not. I have reached a point where being unremarkable is acceptable. I can better control my days if I stick with what I know and attempt to be the best person that I can be.
How about you? How do you see yourself?
Are you always seeking change, or are you content to be a constant, reliable spirit, enjoying where life has brought you?
I believe each condition is good. It is how we live each moment and impact others that is important. What do you think? Are you a tree or the sky?

Just a thought! 🙂
