A Fond Farewell to Danny

A neighbor and friend is suffering the anguish of a death in her family.

A much-loved nephew, husband, son, and father has been taken by death.

These past few days he fought bravely to survive but lost the battle. His body weary. Now his wife and family are reeling with the emptiness and deep anguish that death brings. Unless you have experienced such loss, you have no idea of the emotional pain it inflicts. The void of loss cannot be filled.

No words can ever help, but my hope is that the following give a modicum of comfort to Denise and her family. They were sent to me after my mother died and I found they brought me a degree of solace amid the tears.

`God saw the rugged highway was getting too hard to climb, so He closed those weary eyelids and whispered, `Peace be thine.
